Frequently asked questions

Are you doing all this work on your own?

The majority of the work that I do with clients is done by me personally. Occasionally, on more complex website builds, I collaborate with talented developers.

I just need a logo. Can you help me?

Sure! If all you need is a logo, I’m happy to help you. You might want to take a look at my Launch Pad service, which is a two-week sprint that gives you everything you need to launch a new brand.

How do you build the website?

The website is custom-built using modern JAMstack technology—typically Jekyll—and hooked up to the user-friendly content-management system CloudCannon.

Am I able to make changes to the website?

Yes! I will host the website for you ($100/yr) and you’ll be able to update the content on your website through a user-friendly CMS called CloudCannon.

Do you take on smaller projects?

As a general rule of thumb my minimum level of engagement is $8,000 (see Launch Pad), but if you’ve got something smaller in mind (like just a logo or even an hour of consulting), email me.

What’s it like to work with you?

I’m extremely organized, and you will know exactly what steps lie ahead of us from day one. I’m generous with my time and I have no problem hearing criticism or justifying creative decisions.

Can I pay you in crypto?

Absolutely! In addition to credit/debit card payments and wire transfers, I’m more than happy to accept payments in Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as some stablecoins.

Can I hire you for strategy/advice only?

Absolutely! Usually my strategy-only work starts with a series of workshops, competitive research (and sometimes customer interviews), and then leads into an ongoing advisory retainer.

Are we the perfect fit?
