## The company he runs

Jon Persson has co-owned Greco Gum since its launch in 2021 and built its brand: the positioning, the identity, the tin and the store. It reached six figures in its first year without paid advertising and is now a multi-seven-figure business with 70,000+ customers. He also co-owns another health company and two media sites. ## What Jon Persson believes about brands

In his own words. Client work and running my own companies taught me these. They’re also why the sprint works the way it does.

### You can’t see your own brand from the outside.

> You know what you meant, so you read it into everything you’ve made. Customers only see what’s on the page. That gap is why very good operators end up explaining on sales calls what their brand should already say.

Argued in full: [The glass jar](https://cultmethod.com/articles/glass-jar.md)

### A new logo won’t fix a positioning problem.

> Most founders who come to me for a logo need something else first: a clear answer to who it’s for and why them. Every sprint starts with positioning, and the identity is built to carry it.

Argued in full: [Brand vs. logo vs. identity](https://cultmethod.com/articles/brand-vs-logo.md)

### One person should make the call.

> Research and feedback frame the problem, but they shouldn’t make the decision. Feedback that doesn’t make the work more distinct only sands it down. In the sprint you decide, and I tell you plainly what I’d do.

Argued in full: [The dangers of design by committee](https://cultmethod.com/articles/design-by-committee.md)

### Brand work doesn’t need months.

> Good creative work is a series of steps, done with a blue-collar mindset rather than a wait for inspiration. Strip out what doesn’t change the outcome, fix the dates, and a complete brand fits in ten working days.

Argued in full: [The business value of design](https://cultmethod.com/articles/value-of-design.md)

### A brand book doesn’t write your next email.

> Most agency projects end in a brand book PDF. I’d rather leave you with tools you use: the site live, the files in your name, and a voice kit in Claude or ChatGPT that drafts your next email in your voice.

## How Cultmethod works

- What you get: positioning, visual identity, a custom website, and a brand voice kit.
- The voice kit: Your positioning and tone, set up in Claude or ChatGPT on your account. It drafts your emails, posts and product copy. It’s yours to keep.
- Editing the site: Yes. Edit it in a visual editor, or entirely through ChatGPT or Claude. Change as much as you like, and it stays on brand instead of turning into AI slop.
- Timeline: 10 working days, one client a month. Next start: January 2027.
- Price: $2,000, fixed, for the next founding slot. 3 of 3 founding slots left ($2,000, $4,000, $6,000), then $8,000.
- Payment: Half to book your start date, half at handoff.
- Your time: Less than two hours: a kickoff of 30 minutes at most, a 15-minute concept review, a short handoff, and timely email replies (thanks!).
- Who does the work: Jon Persson leads every sprint and writes the positioning and copy, with a small team he has worked with for years.
- How to start: apply at https://cultmethod.com/apply/. Every application is accepted or declined within 24 hours. Questions: jon@cultmethod.com.
